Completed a Community Service? Log Your Hours! 

For every community service completed, students have to log their hours into the MobileServe app. 

The Service-Learning Director will verify the hours, and then the school Registrar will record the hours in the student’s file. 

Take the below steps to log your hours.

1. Accessing and Navigating the MobileServe App

  • Open the MobileServe App on your preferred device, log in and locate the 'Log hours' button on the home screen.

2. Selecting and Completing Log Type

  • Decide between 'Checking into a special event' (if applicable) or the 'Traditional service log'.

  • For a traditional service log, select 'Log service hours and location' and fill in the necessary details such as date, duration, and the service organization.

3. Inputting Detailed Service Information

  • Type the name of the service organization, select the appropriate category set by your school, and provide a brief description of the work you did.

4. Adding Supervisor Information and Optional Details

  • Input the name and email of your supervisor, and if possible, have them attach a signature on your device.

  • You can optionally add photos from your service and attach your location.

5. Submitting and Reviewing Logged Hours

  • Submit your hours, then return to the home screen to review your updated profile. Note that newly logged hours will appear in the 'pending category' until approved by your school administrator.

6. Understanding Approval Process and Seeking Support

  • Remember that hours remain pending until signed off by the service program administrator. If you encounter any issues or need assistance, reach out to the MobileServe support team.
